Writing Rules

Articles must be created according to the following rules. (update 16/03/2025) In order for manuscripts to go through the review process quickly and smoothly, the template rules must be followed. All relevant files can be found in the FILES section.

Manuscripts submitted to our journal should be written in IMRaD (Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion) format to ensure clear, consistent and systematic scientific communication.

Author information should not be included in the text of all manuscript files (after initial upload and peer review) before the manuscript is accepted for publication.

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the following guidelines. The abstract should not exceed 6,000 (six thousand) words, excluding the abstract, extended abstract, figures and tables, and references. The word count for opinion and research abstracts should be between 2,000 and 2,500 words. It is imperative that any text requiring emphasis be italicised, rather than presented in bold or single quotation marks. Furthermore, the use of both italics and single quotation marks is inadvisable. Manuscripts should be uploaded to the DergiPark system in the Microsoft Word format.

Images should be included in the manuscript, in accordance with the aforementioned guidelines. The nomenclature of the images included in the manuscript should adhere to the established conventions for figures and charts. The editorial board of the journal reserves the right to request the removal of technically problematic or low-quality image files, or to remove them completely from the article. The author(s) are responsible for ensuring the quality of any images used as a source and for determining whether or not they are to be published.

The number of pages on which figures, charts and illustrations are used should not exceed 10, and the area they occupy should not exceed one-third of the manuscript.

It is not permissible to use footnotes for referencing purposes; they should be used solely for explanatory supplementary information. Furthermore, automatic numbering must be employed. In order to demonstrate references in footnotes, in-text citation methods must be utilised.
