Halkalı Alkil Tiyofen-Schiff Bazlarının Protonlanma ve Bunların Ni(II) İyonu ile Kompleks Oluşum Sabitlerinin Belirlenmesi

Öz

Özet: Halkalı alkil tiyofen-Schiff bazların protonlanma ve bunların Ni(II) iyonu ile olan komplekslerinin kararlılık sabitleri %50 etil alkol-su (v/v) ortamında, potansiyometrik titrasyon yöntemi ile tayin edildi. Titrasyonlar 25°C'de, azot atmosferinde ve 0,15 M KCl'lü ortamda yapıldı. Potansiyometrik titrasyon verilerinden yararlanarak PKAS programı ile Schiff bazlarının stokiyometrik protonlanma sabitleri hesaplandı. Schiff bazlarına ait protonlanma sabitlerinin, kompleksleşme ve antimikrobiyel etkilerine bağlı olup olmadığı araştırıldı.

Determination of the Protonation Constants of Cycloalkyl Thiophen-Schiff Bases and their Complex Stability Constant with Ni(II) Ion

Öz

Abstract: The protonation constants of the cycloalkyl thiophen-Schiff
bases and their stability constants of the Ni(II) complexes were
potentiometrically determined in a ethanol–water 50% (w/w) solution at
25°C, under N2 atmosphere and 0.15 M KCl ionic strength. The
stoichiometric protonation constants have been measured by the
potentiometric titration and calculations were performed by the PKAS
computer software recently developed. Variations of the protonation
constant of Schiff bases have been discussed in view of structural
effects exerted on Ni(II)-complex and antimicrobiyal.
