Üniversite Öğrencilerinin Koronavirüs Hakkındaki Bilgi, Tutum ve Davranışları İle Stres Düzeylerinin Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Covid–19 ve benzeri salgınlarda salgın yönetimini kolaylaştırmak için, öncelikli olarak sağlık çalışanlarının korunmasına ve güçlendirilmesine ihtiyaç vardır. Bu çalışmada sağlık bilimlerinde okuyan öğrencilerin Covid–19 salgını sırasında bu konudaki bilgi, tutum ve davranışları ile pandeminin neden olduğu stresi algılama düzeylerini araştırmayı amaçladık. Araştırmamıza sağlık bilimleri fakültesinde okuyan 238 öğrenci katılmıştır. Ankette öğrencilerin koronavirüs hakkındaki bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarını değerlendiren sorularla birlikte Algılanan Stres Düzeyi Ölçeği (ASÖ-10) kullanılmıştır. Yaş ortalaması 21,24 ± 2,2 yıl olan öğrencilerin %79,4’ünü kız öğrenciler oluşturmaktadır. Covid-19’a yönelik bilgi sorularına verilen doğru yanıtlar %73,9 ile %99,2 arasında değişmekteydi. Tutum ve davranışlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu saptandı. Algılanan stres düzeyi düşük olmakla beraber (18,4±4,5) kız öğrencilerin stres düzeyi erkeklerden yüksekti (p=0,001).Sağlık personeli olmaya aday öğrencilerin, salgından kaynaklanan stres düzeylerinin düşük, ancak öğrencilerin salgın hakkındaki bilgi, tutum ve davranışlarının iyi düzeyde olduğu söylenebilir.
